Just to think, one year ago, the cloverfield hype was reaching an all time high, with new stuff popping up on 1-18-08.com, i dont know how many times i must have typed that into my address bar ;-)
But I completely owe this sites existance to our german friend Florian, better known as cashaddy, this site was completely designed and coded by him, afterall our site IS hosted in germany, but for those of you who are wondering how this site was born, heres a little history of how I was obsessed with creating a website to further expand my youtube audience of over a million. you'll probaly have to press "read more" to get the whole story:
It all started with a youtube video of me asking for someone to help me create a website, I got immediatly over 20 webmasters gladly to help! so i chose a core team of about 5 all with their specialties:

I can help you. I do webdesign and graphic art. I have created websites in html iframes and expandable table cells. I use photoshop to design and dreamweaver to help code. For the RSS Feed, it really should not be much. Your RSS Feed is just http://www.youtube.com/rss/user/nightowl3090/videos.rss so that just has to be inserted into the content. I can even make some animations in flash and incoperate them into the title or places around the site. Like animated banner and buttons. Doing a whole page in flash is a lot harder and would not be easy for you to incorporate what you would want so I would only suggest doing bits in flash to add glamor. If ya need any help just contact me.
If I can't design I whole page for ya, due to the fact that you are working on it, I would like to help out with some graphic stuff around the site. If not, thank you for looking at this and giving me the time.

I was thinking about it, and I think I would like to be apart of helping make the site. I have an idea in my head of a layout, I just don't know what you actually want on the site and what not. I was thinking if you wanted a forum, you could sign up on Proboards, they seem to have a could forum software. Get back to me and let me know. I'm going to school for web design, while I'm not going to create you something sepectalur I think with a combination of peoples ideas we can create something good.

I am 100% sure that it is not Cloverfield 2, but i could be wrong. SlashFilm recently reported that Abrams is collaborating with screenwriter David Seltzer on this upcoming "earthquake disaster" film. Matt Reeves was not mentioned in the article, but neither was any other director. Abrams is also keeping details on this film under wraps for reasons nobody has discovered yet. Ok, so it just might be a sequel to Cloverfield.

I know this isn't Cloverfield news, but it's still really big news. The comedian died today from what his publicist described as "complications due to pneumonia". Today must be a dark day in Hollywood, because this man provided a spark of comedy to so many film projects and television sitcoms. Sadly, any Ocean's movies in the future will be forever missing a familiar face. His small, yet crucial, role in Transformers was truly memorably for all fans of the movie. I can even say that I liked watching "The Bernie Mac Show" when i was little. Mac was a great actor and an even greater man. I hope you can all take some time from your day to look back at all the times Mac's jokes made you smile or even grin as you nodded in disbelief.

I know alot of you are thinking "how are comic books related to cloverfield???". Well it turns out, Comic Con last year gave us our first look at the then unnamed movie, posters and interviews included. So, i suggest you check it out and there might be a little something there that might be interesting...who knows...
