At some Star Trek panel at some convention, Abrams teased the idea if a sequel, or possible spin-off, to Cloverfield. Here's the quote:
“We have an idea that we thought was pretty cool that we’re playing with, which means there will be something that’s connected to Cloverfield, but I hope it happens sooner rather than later because the idea is pretty sweet.”

I haven't been able to keep up with the site lately, and I'm not going to be able to. I'm not saying that I'm retiring or anything, it's just that there a new 2nd in Command and her name is Ender. She will help keep things alive while me and Joel are away. Keep up the awesomeness and dont forget to feed Grayballs!
See ya around

P.S. Ender, if you haven't figured it out yet, YES you have full ADMIN powers.
Good Luck
It's been a whole year since everyone's favorite 1st person monster movie was released in theaters! I hope you all enjoyed the ride the movie provided. In fact, said ride must be so enjoyable that you all have to watch the movie again as soon as you finish reading this!....nah not really (but you should).
I'm now off to play some Half-Life 2 because it reminds me of Clovey

I wouldnt put it past Abrams to sneak in something like this in a movie as "big" as Star Trek. Apparently, there is a scene in the trailer the new Trekkie movie where we get a glimpse of a familiar looking fellow...
Ok, so it isn't a perfect match but it fits the basic description. The more I look at the picture, the more I realize just how BIG the Abrams universe just might be. Cloverfield, Lost, Star Trek...All part of one big world?
I'm exhausted at the moment so this is going to be short and sweet. The future of this site is looking a little bleak, but expect some updates and possible a few renovations in the near future. I can't say much more because this is still in the pre-production phase. It might also help if I could get ahold of Joel to sorta organize plans out of ideas.

Oh did I mention that the Anniversary is almost here?.....
I was just messing around with all the little tools in Google Chrome when I found something very, very interesting. ALL Cloverfield viral sites can be linked back to a certain google analytics page. I'm horrible at reading code, but i think it might be a system that organized the pages. Of course, it could just be a common page found randomly on all sites. I haven't really looked into it, but all of you can. http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js
this url can be found in the source code for 1-18-08.com, slusho.jp, tagruato.jp, and tidowave.com
If nothing else, we now have some tool for checking the legitimacy of future viral sites.

JJ Abrams really has an ongoing love for that Slusho! of his. It's been spotted in Alias and Heroes, and was used as an integral part of Cloverfield's ingenious viral marketing campaign. Well its back again, and ready to just mess with us some more. SlashFilm reports that a recent preview screener of Star Trek revealed some of Abrams' inside humor.
"During the bar sequence, a character recommends a Slusho alcoholic drink."
Will the tease ever end?

Last week South Park...
I'll just let the clip explain the rest.
This was just the first part in a little multi-episode arc, so expect more spoofing this Wednesday.

get back on the site lmao ender called you our deadbeat dad who we see on holidays
Now kids... daddy is very busy with work and you know now mommy can get when she gets back from her "night out with her girlfriends"
It saddens me that I have pretty much nothing to update on anymore. The movie just faded away, all signs of the viral are dead, and theres like 5 forum members. Well for nostalgic reasons, i was looking through all the viral sites and found something that really made me smile.
