Alot has been discovered in regards to Super 8. The ARG started off with this site: http://www.scariestthingieversaw.com/
You can follow the prompt to a countdown that ended on Saturday. Now we are able to print off a couple of pages by typing the command ".PRINT RSCOM8" and hitting ENTER. One page features a dominant ad for ROCKET POPPETEERS. Of course, this leads to another site that is "temporarily down": http://www.rocketpoppeteers.com/

LET'S GO!
WHO? WHAT? WHEN? WHERE? WHY???

I have absolutely no idea what to expect from this movie aside from a healthy dose of awesome. All we really know is Abrams+Spielberg+Area 51. There is, however, a healthy sea of speculation churning at the moment.

For Example:
"Insiders familiar with the trailer tell us that it shows a bunch of kids who are shooting a movie with a Super 8 camera in the Seventies or Eighties. When they develop the film, they notice that there's an alien creature in the frame. Our sources also say that Super 8 is absolutely connected to 2008's Cloverfield (possibly a prequel, but not a sequel)."

What if the teaser to the sequel to Cloverfield is attached to Iron-Man 2? It's just a dream with little to no hope, but I would like to think it is a possibility. I know exactly what I would want out of this teaser trailer. It's the scene from the end of Cloverfield where Rob and Beth are under the bridge. They both give their last words and the bridge collapses. During the transition to the final Coney Island scene, the screen begins to freak out and shifts to a grainy black and white view for a second. After that, the screen goes black for a moment and comes back up as a security monitor of an empty room with the camera laying on a table. The camera would still be playing from the point it left off. Then, suddenly the room feels a tremor. Dust falls through cracks in the walls. The screen goes black.

Rumor has it that JJ Abrams' next secret movie has a big connection to the great Steven Spielberg films of the 70s and 80s. Another report claims that Abrams and Spielberg might even collaborate. What this translates to, I have no idea. However, a source referred to the project as an "Anti-Avatar". I found it really interesting that this movie is going to be low-budget and is hinting at implementing a very Cloverfield style of marketing.

P.S. I've finally learned some of the basics of HTML!

"But the thing that is just f***ing outstanding about the film is that every single character has motivations and I understand where they're coming from."

There you have it. I automatically LOVE this movie.

Post: i read somewhere, that matt reeves and JJ are always talking about Clovie2 (haha i like that) but they need to find something to give it the edge that the camera work gave the first one.

also, over at IMDB they have a page set up for "untitled Cloverfield Sequel" set for release next year.

check it http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1179933/

*UPDATE*
A few things came up and I'm currently working out the details.

Every logical section of my mind is telling me that I already own Street Fighter 4. I do and oh how I love it so, but the creeping release of Super Street Fighter 4 is making me question whether or not another purchase is necessary. It is essentially the same game with 10 new fighters. Street Fighter is one of those childhood memories that I will never let go. SO, do I really need this?
